Okay so I admit I am a huge Jane McDonald fan. What I like about Jane is that she seems so down to earth despite her fame.

Let the Light In follows on from her book Riding the Waves it’s very similar following her from starting out to where she is today and where fame started on the BBC show the Cruise. Her dad taking her to her gigs early on is lovely.  An interesting and light read it’s not been easy all the time but the girl from Wakefield has grafted and picked herself up through difficult times and is where she is today. Sadly she couldn’t have longer with her Ed. Her friend Sue is her rock and well I have a best friend called Sue in fact that’s what we all need a Sue in our lives.
