When I saw this book I had to read it. I love dogs and admit I cried at times throughout the book especially when the inevitable happened to Ella. I shared the book with a friend and they too cried.
Ella truly saved James life and was his best friend. That’s the thing with dogs they love you unconditionally and know when you are happy, sad and poorly. And as James basically says even when he has felt life’s not really worth living, he had to be there for Ella and she made that life worthwhile.
Please take a journey with James and Ella through this book. It shows even if you are privileged, mental health doesn’t care it can grip you whoever you are.
